2020 Impact Report

2020 was undoubtedly an unforgettable, crazy year for all of us. Even with everything that happened, you continued to support, volunteer, and donate to change the lives of women and children in crisis. You gave the gift of safe shelter and life-changing services to those who needed it most. Take a look at our video report and full annual report below to see just how you impacted others for good in 2020 at Restoration Village.

Thank you to everyone who helped make last year possible, and we look forward to how you’ll partner with us in the new year!

As you look at the difference you made in 2020, we want to encourage you to think about how you can change the lives of women and children in crisis this year. Whether it’s a one-time donation, monthly recurring gift, or one of our sponsorships, your financial support plays a vital role in restoring hope, renewing dignity, rebuilding lives, and breaking the cycle of abuse for those at our homeless women and children’s shelter.

Kum & Go Fights Food Insecurity

Kum & Go is more than just a place to stop for gas or grab a snack. As an organization, Kum & Go has a history of improving the local communities where their stores are. One of their top priorities is fighting food insecurity, a problem that has become even more prominent during the current public health crisis.

Recently, Kum & Go awarded the Village a Community Betterment Grant to ensure that our women and children have access to healthy food. This grant will help support the safe shelter we provide our residents, which includes making sure that there are no hungry bellies at the Village. We are so grateful for Kum & Go’s partnership with us.

Five nights a week, we prepare a community meal for all our residents who wish to join. Kum & Go’s support will help us provide the 5,200 meals we prepare annually (for approximately 20 individuals per meal, 5 days a week, 52 weeks per year). Thank you, Kum & Go, for restoring hope for homeless women and children in crisis at Restoration Village!
