Ready, Get Set and Take Aim with us as we work to provide food, shelter, and security to some of the most vulnerable members of our community who are in a crisis time of their lives!
Did you know that the poverty rate for children in single parent families is triple the rate for children in two parent families? This means that these children are exposed to increased instances of hunger, face a lack of stable housing, are more likely to fall behind in school, and have poor health outcomes. The services, support, and care we provide to women and children help to reduce this sobering statistic. While at the Village residents not only have their immediate needs of food, shelter, and safety met, they have access to advocacy, counseling and life-skills education.
We are excited to announce that Governor Asa Hutchinson and the First Lady of Arkansas will be present for our 2nd Annual AIM for Advocacy Sporting Clays Fundraiser benefiting the advocacy program which provides direct services to adults and children. This event will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017. Â Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. at Spring Valley Anglers Rod and Gun Club in Gravette.
